Ok, I usually call them duvets, but we’ll settle for ‘quilt’ for this post.
Here is Fat Cat reclining on the quilt on our bed.
You can click on the link to find out more about Fat Cat’s story, but the potted history is she is a neighbour’s cat who has adopted us.
She spends many happy hours fast asleep on our bed.
Fat Cat gives us a lot of love in return for fuss, a quiet place to sleep, and brine from the tuna tin.
We have a lot of love to lavish, and after losing Hugo, she has become a bit of a furry surrogate baby for us.
They say that animals know who is in need, and while cats can usually be said to do only what pleases themselves, I do like to think she spends so much time with us because she knows we need her.
We’re very happy that Fat Cat chooses to spend lots of time on our quilt – even if it is usually then covered with her fur.
She looks like a wonderfully cuddly cat. Beautiful quilt too! 🙂

I’m sure she’s enjoying it just as much as you are, even if she doesn’t let you know that all of the time x

How wonderful that she has adopted you at this time. I like to believe that some animals know when we need them, I wonder if we will ever unravel that mystery?

It really is – I think animals have kind of a sixth sense about when we need them. It’s like dogs who can sniff out cancer or can sense when someone is going to have an epileptic seizure – possibly we will never know how they can do those things. Thanks for commenting xxx

Aww, she looks so cute and certainly happy to be where she is. I think she’s actually oblivious to the print and just want to stay there forever… or till you shoo her away 🙂

Ha! Yes, she’s probably oblivious to the print…it amused me because she’s brought us a couple of birds. Naughty cat. Thanks for commenting x
