R is for Remember

This is one of my favourite photos of Hugo. He is in his favourite place, skin-to-skin snuggled between my boobs. You can see his face so clearly, too. For a long time I thought Hugo had all of his dad’s facial features, but this photo helped me see that he had my nose. That makes me smile.

Hugo is opening his eyes, too. He had started opening them a couple of days earlier. He would often look startled when he opened his eyes, which would make us laugh. I would wonder what he thought of what he could see.
